Process for Becoming a Zion Volunteer

Welcome! Becoming a volunteer in Zion Student Ministries is a blessing that can only be compared with the joy of serving the Father! When you apply to be a volunteer in Zion Student Ministries, you go through four steps:

1. Fill out the Volunteer Application for Student Ministries online. Filling out this application online does not mean that you are automatically signing your life away. You will be contacted for a chance to ...

2. Meet with the Youth Pastor for a one-on-one chat to answer three questions and determine what volunteer role is the best match for you:
a. How would you describe your upbringing, religious history, and your relationship with Christ?

b. How did you come to LSUMC and find out about Zion?

c. Why do you want to work with students?
3. Attend Safe Sanctuary Training (child protection) and any upcoming Zion Volunteer Training events.

4. Become a volunteer!!
