Sponsorship and Poverty Support

Compassion International

Compassion International is most known for its child sponsorship program. You can choose the child you sponsor or let Compassion choose for you, you can correspond with your child, give Christmas and birthday gifts and even receive mail from them! Before committing to a Compassion child, remember that this is a real person - are you ready to make the financial commitment to support? If you are, then enjoy the experience of having a Compassion child!

Partners International

Partners International gives you the change to both sponsor a child and give resources to families and villages in third-world countries - like goats, water wells, and whole buildings! Check out all the stuff you could provide, costs range anywhere from just a few dollars to thousands!

World Vision

World Vision, like Partners International, allows you to sponsor a child and give resources to families and villages in third-world countries! Check out the "Maximum Impact Fund" for ways to help the areas of the world that need the most attention.

Have a heart for children with special needs? Try working with the Special Olympics! These children and teens with mental disabilities will bring you more joy than you know, and usually, they teach us more than we help them. The Special Olympics provides the mentally disabled with athletic events (including tournaments, track meets, etc). You can be a part of the Special Olympics locally by calling Jeremie Ballinger at 913-789-0332.
